How to Connect Paddle on Chartsy

In this guide, we will walk you through the simple process of connecting your Paddle account to Chartsy.

Prerequisites

Before creating or submitting your Paddle API key on Chartsy, ensure the following:

  • You have a Paddle account.

  • You have administrative access to retrieve or create API credentials.

Step-by-Step: Connecting Paddle to Chartsy via API Key

1. Log in to Paddle

  1. Go to the Paddle Billing Dashboard.

  2. Use your credentials to sign in.

2. Find or Generate Your API Key

  1. Go to Developer Tools > Authentication.

  1. Click Create API Key, give it a name like “Chartsy Integration.”

  2. Choose the appropriate permissions (e.g., read/write for subscriptions).

  1. Save and copy the generated API key.

3. Paste Your API Key into Chartsy

  1. Go to the Chartsy Dashboard Setup Page (Connect Your Payment Data form).

  2. Click on the Paddle section and complete the following information:

    1. Company Name - Your company’s name.

    2. Default Currency - The default currency for your data in Chartsy metrics.

    3. API Key - Paste the API key you generated in Paddle.

4. Save the Connection

  1. After entering your Paddle API key and company details, click Connect Paddle.

  2. Chartsy will begin pulling your product data from Paddle.

  3. You will be notified via email once your account is ready.

Security Tip

Never share your Paddle API key publicly or include it in client-side code. It should only be stored securely in the Chartsy dashboard.
